SECOND MEETING OF GOVERNING BODY OF KASHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, VARANASI
Minutes of Meeting – 29/07/2024
As informed on 27.07.2024, the second meeting of Governing Body was held on 29.07.2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the board room at Kashi Institute of Technology, Varanasi. The meeting was chaired by Shri P.K. Jain, Chairperson of the Governing Body.
Director Dr. Gaurav Sinha welcomed all the members for participating in the meeting and presented the agenda items of the meeting for suggestions/approval from the members of Governing Body. The Chairperson Shri P.K. Jain initiated the proceedings of the meeting.
The following points were discussed in the meeting:
Agenda 1: Approval of the Minutes of first meeting held on 15th July, 2024.
No suggestions were received. Minutes of first meeting were approved.
Agenda 2: Approval of various regulations of Autonomous College.
After thorough discussion, the following regulations have been approved as per various Clauses of the UGC (Conferment of Autonomous Status upon colleges and Measures for Maintenance of Standards in Autonomous Colleges) Regulations, 2023:
- (i) Appointment Regulation 2024
- (ii) Fee Regulation 2024
- (iii) Course and Examination Regulation 2024
- (iv) Admission Regulation 2024
Agenda 3: Approval of various Statutory and Non-statutory Committees.
After thorough discussion with all the members, various Statutory and Non-statutory Committees have been approved as per various Clauses of the UGC (Conferment of Autonomous Status upon colleges and Measures for Maintenance of Standards in Autonomous Colleges) Regulations, 2023:
A. Statutory Committees:

- (iv) Board of Studies
B. Non-statutory Committees:
- (i) Examination Committee
- (ii) Anti-Ragging Committee
- (iii) Grievance Redressal Committee

- (vii) Internal Complaint Committee

- (ix) Academic Audit Committee

Agenda 4: Any other point with permission of the Chairperson.
Since there were no other points to discuss, the meeting ended with thanks to Chair and all the members of the Governing Body for their enthusiastic participation and giving valuable suggestions. The next meeting of Governing Body is scheduled on 07th August, 2024 (Wednesday).
