Minutes of Meeting – 07/08/2024

As informed on 05.08.2024, the third meeting of Governing Body was held on 07.08.2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the board room at Kashi Institute of Technology, Varanasi. The meeting was chaired by Shri P.K. Jain, Chairperson of the Governing Body.

Director Dr. Gaurav Sinha welcomed all the members for participating in the meeting and presented the agenda items of the meeting for suggestions/approval from the members of Governing Body. The Chairperson Shri P.K. Jain initiated the proceedings of the meeting.

The following points were discussed in the meeting:

Agenda 1: Approval of the Minutes of second meeting held on 29th July, 2024.

No suggestions were received. Minutes of second meeting were approved.

Agenda 2: Approval of Curriculum for session 2024-25.

After thorough discussion with all the members, the Curriculum for the session 2024-25 has been approved.

Agenda 3: Approval of fees for the session 2024-25.

After thorough discussion with all the members, the fees for session 2024-25 have been approved.

Agenda 4: Approval of new programs of study leading to Degree and Diploma.

After thorough discussion, new programs of study leading to Degree and Diploma have been approved for the session 2024-25.

Agenda 5: Observation of prepared AQAR 2023-24.

All data for AQAR 2023-24 has been observed.

Agenda 6: Any other point with permission of the Chairperson.

Since there were no other points to discuss, the meeting ended with thanks to Chair and all the members of the Governing Body for their enthusiastic participation and giving valuable suggestions.

Agenda 7: Autonomy to introduce certificate or diploma courses.

As per clause 10.1 of UGC Regulation 2023, Kashi Institute of Technology (Autonomous college) has the autonomy to introduce certificate or diploma courses. The certificates and diplomas for these courses will be issued under the seal of Kashi Institute of Technology, in compliance with the applicable regulation.
